Pedal adjustment

Hey guys I am just curious as to whether it is possible to get our pedal heights adjusted. The reason I ask is because I think I would like to raise my gas pedal a little bit just to help with rev match down shifts, just feels a little low and I have to come down too hard on the brake to get a good blip on the throttle. My foot isn't very wide so this would definitely help.

I searched and didn't find anything and hope this is not too much of a rediculous question.

Thanks guys

^ I am curious about this adjustment as well. My resolve however is opposite as I wish my gas pedal was lower or brake pedal was higher. I would prefer your situation because you're likely to be under hard braking in track/aggressive situations.

I found the set up not too bad for track use, since you're deeper on the brake pedal than on the street.

Aren't these transmissions syncro'd? Aka, no rev matching needed?

Ehh, I don't drive my Z with much hate, usually just slide neutral when slowing.

I thought that's what the syncro transmission was for...

you can push/pull the shifter into gear, but once you let out the clutch, the rev's need to be matched so everything is smooth and you don't result in a rapid forward weight transfer.

Probably the easiest way is to add a layer to the gas pedal.

e.g. in my BMW, I installed custom alum. pedals. Ultimate pedals
Installation lowers the brake & clutch while raising the throttle.
- brake & clutch; rubber is removed & alum bolted directly. (alum thinner than rubber)
- Throttle was layered on top of existing.

Overall change wasn't much, but it made H&T much easier.

Thanks InTgr8r I guess I will have to improvise in this case, kind of sucks. Ah well thanks for the idea anyways I may just end up trying it and hope it helps.

I found the geometry on my pedals off too when i got my car. For me though, I found the clutch pedal too far forward as I like to sit a bt further back. Think my left legs short. I made a ~3/8 spacer wth a clone of the clutch pedal behind the clutch rubber pad.

I had been in an auto for a few years before too though.
