Calgary on the Long W/E

Just got back from Calgary for the long W/E. I noticed that there were considerably more G35s on the road than here in Edmonton! Only saw one 350Z, but many Gs. It seems to be opposite here.

Just an observation.

I suspect that those of you that live in some of the larger metro areas like TO and Vancouver see many more G35s than we do as well. No wonder we Albertans can't seem to get a proper meet happening, especially here in Edmonton!

<font color=black> I don't know I've been noticing more and more G35's around town on a regular basis. Do you think our secret is out?

But since I haven't been to Calgary in ages, I have no idea what's there. Maybe we should start a poll and really see how many Edmontonians/Calgarians G35 owners actually read this forum?

Whatcha think?

ps maybe it's time I talked to you about getting a grounding kit, as it seems another summer is almost over and I haven't had time to complete that project either

Re: Calgary on the Long W/E

Yeah, I've noticed a slight increase in G35 sightings in Edmonton as well, especially here on the Southside.

But in just driving to various destinations around Calgary, I have to say I was quite surprised at how many I saw.

PM me if you're interested in a set of GroundingGear™ and I'll give you a call. Unless you want to pick a set up at a dealer at retail.

I just got back from installing the additional wires (ECU & #8) to Rick's (Ericksen's GM) 350z to see if they do as much to a Z as to the G35.

Well with the snow on the friggin' ground today, it may be a short G season afterall. But I will add the grounding wires to my "to do" list over the winter. So I will be in touch, sometime in the future.

Re: Calgary on the Long W/E

Do you guys plan on driving your G during the winter?

I live in Edmonton and am curious to know what you guys are doing.

I think I have seen maybe 8 different G's all summer. (and only one other red one like myself) I like that it is still an uncommon car.

<font color=black> Myself personally don't drive my G35 when it snows. Only because I'm too cheap to buy snow tires and new rims. Have a 4X4 for the winter

So my G sits covered in a heated garage till spring.

Re: Calgary on the Long W/E

I drive mine year round. Winter tires are a must, and a separate set of wheels for them is a good idea.

Things get a little more challenging for your Coupe. Tire Warehouse on the Southside (99th Street) has a lot of experience equipping both the sedan and coupe with winter rubber. Tell them I sent you, as Wayne and the others know me very well there. (Too bad they went with the poorly designed Aro-Speed grounding kits because they make a better profit on them though ).
