Did anyone else think Canadians' celebrations seemed subdued? I mean, out on the streets, there didn't seem to be that much honking & hollering. I think maybe it's because back in the 02 Olympics, we had something to prove because we'd lost the 96 World Cup & the 98 Olympics, whereas this team we had just come off the 02 Olympic high.

Anyways, way to go Team Canada!

 

Well I'm at Dal Housie right now, and I can tell you we wernt subdude. I partyed untill 6 in the morning and I had class at 10 30. Heh.

A couple of my friends were downtown Toronto and said it was insane...I kinda wish I was back in Toronto for the celebrations down town....but its just as good here .

hey the reason it was subdued is because in the middle of Summer and nice hot warm weather a time when Hockey does not even come to mind..a time when we just got over hockey a few months back WORLD CUP HOCKEY takes places. I just wasnt feeling it..
