Did anyone else think Canadians' celebrations seemed subdued? I mean, out on the streets, there didn't seem to be that much honking & hollering. I think maybe it's because back in the 02 Olympics, we had something to prove because we'd lost the 96 World Cup & the 98 Olympics, whereas this team we had just come off the 02 Olympic high.

Well I'm at Dal Housie right now, and I can tell you we wernt subdude. I partyed untill 6 in the morning and I had class at 10 30. Heh.
A couple of my friends were downtown Toronto and said it was insane...I kinda wish I was back in Toronto for the celebrations down town....but its just as good here

hey the reason it was subdued is because in the middle of Summer and nice hot warm weather a time when Hockey does not even come to mind..a time when we just got over hockey a few months back WORLD CUP HOCKEY takes places. I just wasnt feeling it..
