I was wondering if anyone can recommend a shop in TO (that you have been to before) to fix a small chip in the windsheild. I have one right in the line of my vision. What a PITA!

My thoughts was to go to Apple Autoglass.

 

Any of the mainstream shops should be fine.
I've used Apple before & they did a good job.

Get the $70 fill and then they stamp your windshield, from that point on any chips are free to fill. (If you just wanna fill the one chip it's like $40)

 

check your insurance coverage.

i dono about canada or your type of insurance there... but my insurance will fix cracks in the line of sight of the driver for FREE because it could possibly save them (insurance company) money preventing an accident.

 

don't mean to thread jack, but what should i do about a sandblasted windshield?
