Looks like fun Ian. Cars look great!! Caddyshk looks to be running some bigger rubber.
I was out on the street today talking to a neighbour and got my first good look at an R8. A guy came by that knew my neighbour and stopped for a while. Beautiful car and sounded great leaving too.

Caddy just mounted those (Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1)
They seem to be a little more square at the corners, so the look a little bigger.
They seemed to be a popular choice, at least 6 other cars were running them.

Yeah, it's nice to be finished with the process.
All in all, it was pretty straight forward & easier than I expected.

It was run by the local BMW club. (don't have to own a BMW to join)
Guests are allowed one event ($25), then are required to join. ($55)
It's $20/event for members.
Trillium Chapter BMW CCA

Still, I'm sure there's fun to be had watching others scrub hundreds of dollars' worth of rubber off in half a day.
Those R8s are sweet
