A rather large meet going on at United Cycle in Edmonton on May 1st. Anybody from here going?

Its a big 780 t00ners meet they usually meet every Friday at United Cycle and I guess this will be the first official meet.

I don't think I would fit in with this crowd, I have no mods on my car (yet!) haha. besides, i have to go to Victoria for a wedding (at least I get to drive there!)

 

The meet (this one or any other for that matter) has nothing to do with mods, or how much money you put in the car.

It's just a bunch of car enthusiast hanging out and BS'ing for the day, talking about cars. Not a "show" contest. I went to my first meet with my bone stock Z, met Gord, Dustin, a few others and had a good time.

 

I agree its nice to hang out with fellow car guys and shoot the breeze. Its not at all about what you have done or what you have. This meet is more general than or typical G/Z meets lots of different cars and people. Our G/Z meets are usually more personal where as this could be upwards of 200 cars and a few hundred people walking around. But the G/Z guys usually hang out even at the UC meets just because we all know each other a little bit

 

I'll try and make the trip up. It will be a good way to celebrate finally finishing post secondary.
