you think it's worth it?

everything else simoniz makes is a piece of garbage, but for $50 you think it's a decent buy for 1 time a year use?

If you use it twice you'll be ahead of the game. If you already have pads and polishes/waxes/glazes etc, I'd say do it.

Is this a high speed polisher or a random orbital? Consider all the specs and the differences between them. Random orbital is safer but slower for the DIYer.

Do you know how to use both?

I think its just a high speed polisher... Idk if its even high speed or not cuz its max speed is 1350 rpm... since its RPM i would assume its not random orbital.

The PC 7424XP goes up to 6800 OPM.

These things are prone to weird overspin on the head. You'll burn a nice hole in the clear with that thing.

Thats a great buy and eshine is very good to deal with. They are in Ontario and are very fast with their orders. I get most of my detailing stuff from them such as ONR, MF towels, Ricardo's Clay etc.

I just checked it out, here it is: http://www.eshine.ca/1porter_cable_7424xp_car_buffer__polisher-3182.php?cat=28
