Time-consuming, but not especially difficult. Easier than headlight mods, LOL!!

That's what I like to hear haha. Almost done though

I don't really know what kind of fence needs to be built yet. Someones giving their E30 to whoever builds it for them, apparently the job was valued around $1400. I don't know if fences are normally expensive to have made so I'm not really sure how much there is to be done. I'll be calling them today to see if they can send me their design. It's either that or spend $500 on what looks like a more beat E30....opinions? It's going to be a track car so I don't really care about the condition, I just don't know if I want to commit to building his fence lol.

Plenty! It's not hard but takes some good carpentry skills and the right tools for the job.
If you're going to DIY my advice would be to hire an experienced post hole digger and post setter. If your posts are well set and true you can't go wrong. Post hole guys will charge any where from $15 to $25 per hole depending on how busy they are so call a few and definitely speak to some referrals. They will usually include boring the hole, the concrete and setting the post. You provide the post and the layout of where you want the fenceline. Don't forget to confirm your property line if necessary.

My friends and I build through the summer weekends mainly because we enjoy it and find the work relaxing. We don't enjoy it enough to do for free, lol, although we cost much less than a contractor.
Here is some of the work we have done
http://sites.google.com/site/outdoorwoodwork/

If you tell me what type of fence (assuming it's wood) and the height/length then I can tell you if the quote is resonable.
I am building myself a 240ft long fence 4ft tall (for the dogs) and that is $2800 worth of material.

Cheers
Paul

I have also built a few fences and like Paul says, take your time and it's a no brainer.
I have always dug our own holes and set the posts in concrete, it's not difficult unless you are in lots of rock and clay.

Thanks for the advice guys I think I'm going to do it. All I've been doing today is researching how to do it and I think I'll be able to do a good job. I called the guy and the car seems in a lot better condition. Probably would be able to get more from parting out than with the $500 one. Just waiting on him to call me back to set-up a time to come and see it.

Thanks. I love these rims, they're so light weight and look great.

Sucks to hear they don't offer good offsets for your car. Looking forward to seeing your car, i've always loved the Z4m coupe!

Didn't notice this story but I did see on the news a 350z with Nismo wheels and Brembos being towed away from a murder scene here in Calgary the other day.
