Introduction to CAN Section

Hey Guys just want to, introduce myself to the Canadian section. Rookie G owner so no mods yet. Had her for about a month and a half now. Its a 04 TB 6MT. No problems yet but I'm anticipating some thing to go wrong soon since my door actuator went out.

But other than that its a great car I'm loving it

Here are some pics

P.S If anyone is selling aftermarket rims, let me know

Hey welcome K's35. Congrats on the car. How many kms on it?

Window actuators are common issues.

My first Infiniti was a red '04 M6.

Welcome to the thread... I'm sure you'll like it here! Also, as I'm learning- check out my350z.com as well because a lot of the parts we need can be found in their marketplace as well!

See you around!

Loved mine. Best brakes I ever had although may change my opinion with a little more driving in the M. 40K and never did anything to them including some track sessions. Still had 40% plus pad remaining.

Forgot to mention- this is a great site for the networking available... but get used to having to hit your back button about 6 times. It's worth the hassle!

What, the actuators are a common issue also.. aaarrrrggggghhhh.

some other known issues:
- Compression rods (front end banging noise in suspension system on bumps)
- Hood hinges that like to seize (lube them frequently)
- Burning rubber smell in wintertime (common problem and nobody knows what it is)
- Trunk wiring harness problems, wire breakage
- Short tire life expectancy, even if you drive it nicely.
- Head Light upgrade not a simple plug and play on DRL equipped cars
- Got a rev up motor, you will be buying your motor oil by the barrel, not the quart.
- The Brembos look nice and perform very well, when worn out you will need to take out a second mortgage on your house or sell a body part to pay for them.
- And every ricer for miles around with a oversized spoiler and a fart can muffler will try to race you any chance they get.
