Y pipe or Catback
With some, the price difference is silly and there is an obvious choice, but after shipping, brokerage etc. the price difference is usually not that big a deal. Also, being able to look the guy in the face that sold you the wrong part is definitley worth a few bucks instead of getting the usual run-around. There will always be ebay sellers whoring out goods, but when something goes wrong, you're stuck with return shipping and long waits at best.
The more we support our own suppliers and economy, the better value we will get. (I'm a hypocrite, bought tires from tire rack...) I just had a guy save almost $100 by ordering a set of carbs off ebay instead of me. While putting them on, his manifolds were wrong, filters that came with were wrong and the carbs had no choke or vac ports for tuning on them. The seller, who has 10,000+ sales " told him "thats what we use". Cost him much much more for me to make it all work. Thats just one of many many stories i have.
I would think that being in or around Toronto, you would have a ton of local options. No? I know Lightspeed, Tunerworks and Mopac sell at MSRP or better and honor manufacturer sales and discount.
