I had a fail experience at SPLITFIRE Performance in Brampton
I'm just posting to let you guys know how i made a mistake and should of went to Sg motor-sports. I found a website for Splitfire Performance and saw their youtube videos and decided to give it a try. Their labor is $60/hr and i don't know how i got charged $200 for 2.5hrs worth of actrual labor. It's an official ricer shop and You just get overcharged when the job is done and i regret not going to somewhere else more trusted. They overbill you and than take extra time to do the work so you end up missing out the whole day at the shop and i think one mechanic works on 2 cars at once at times.
Try APH, http://www.advancepowerhouse.com/ they're Asian though, talk to Ed. These guys have been really good to me, I have used them for a bunch of stuff on my G for mod's (coils, camber kit) and just regular maintenance (window motor, compression rods) because I'm out of warranty.
If they have to get parts for you they show you their invoice so you know you are paying cost.
you can try Simone Performance, very good as well but kinda far.

paul bahn is a bit of a dink(owner of spitfire). he didn't have any interest in helping me a couple years ago and he is dick in general. he is in the CSCS circuit with his civic (which is fast!) but he has a bad personality.
i think i just got too scared and ripped off by paul......I'm glad i can help you out blaccg35, maybe someone here should go and report back. Again, their labor is $60 so you just have to make sure you dont get hustled.
been to the shop before to have my stage 3 clutch installed.. and my check engine soon light has been on ever since.. to this day they have not fixed the problem. was charged 800 to change my clutch.
After searching I found a shop in Sauga called Strictly Custom Creations. To be honest I was a bit sketched at first when I went, but after talking with Dave and watching him and Johnny work on my car I was greatly impressed. Things I had done there include suspension, camber kits, replacement of compression rods, hids, etc. Good work and best price I could find in GTA. Also have seen them swap out exhaust on a DG coupe, not sure if hes on the board or not?
