Well i finally got a chance to put my poor stock ypipe to rest. As you can see if wasnt holding onto life by much.


I picked up a Greddy Evo Exhaust from a 350z. After getting the extensions fabbed and the damn evap canister relocated got it into place. I didnt get a chance to take a pic of it on the car, but i will as soon as it stop raining. The tips were actually more in then stock, and i think its because the Z have different mounting points. At first i wasnt sure if they would look good, but once the car was lowered i liked the position.
First of all let me tell you, i LOVE the sound of this exhaust. Even with the megan resonated test pipes its still a deep tone, and at certain RPMS actually quieter then stock. So far no issues, but i noticed then when the car revs down around 2.5k rpm is sounds like there are rocks in the test pipe. Not sure what that sound if from, this is the second set of pipes that has made the sound. Like a rattle, if anyone else had this problem please let me know.
The car feels alot better, and once i get the ECU reset and the CEL off im sure it will pull harder.

Whaaa? That had many a good year left in her. Thats just wasteful. 
As far as the "rocks in the exhaust", thats a common description of detonation (not to state the obvious and i'm not insinuating you don't know better). I'd say hopefully its just rocks, but that could be as big a pain in the ****. Try some octane boost on a fresh 1/4 tank of premium and see if it changes.

No its actually rocks this time
when the car is off and i hit the driver side testpipe i can hear what seems like rocks. It sucks though cus i cant let the car rev down around 2.5k LOL my brakes hate me for that.
And ya that pipe gave it her all, i drove the car with it like that for 3 weeks. Wasnt pretty. But its all good now. On to the next mod.

Its a toss up atm. I cant seem to decide if i want to get rims or keep the stock look. I might finally get that greddy front i picked up from u painted and pick up a cf hood + trunk.
Either that or headers. Cant decide between performance or looks
