Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to watch the Germany game today, but it looks like they handled the Aussies pretty easily. Looking forward to the Italy/Paraguay match tomorrow.

vuvuzela is getting on everyone's nerve. i think the broadcast makes it worse as they say its not that bad when you watch it live. it took away all the reaction and cheering part of soccer. i kinda expressed my anti-sympathy for vuvuzelas at work my colleague who is african got super pissed and said this is part of our culture and heritage , couldnt say anything, still hate it with my heart, i love the african culture and everything about it except vuvuzelas.

but im sure, fifa will not give Africa another cup for at least 50 years, since its gonna take them 50 years to take the echo of vuvuzelas from their ear.

fifa said today they will not ban the vuvuzelas.

I am hoping tomorrow's Portugal/Ivory Coast game is gonna be a good one. I think it's pretty much 50/50 as who will win, but my money is on Portugal.

Assuming Brazil can handle both Portugal and Ivory Coast (which is by no means a given), Portugal vs. Ivory Coast tomorrow is huge in deciding who advances to the next round...I think the game will be pretty exciting as both teams are offensive minded.

WOW, I can't believe that the Swiss pulled out a win over Spain today. I wasn't expecting that at all. Definitely the biggest upset so far.
