Uncalibrated Torque Wrench FTMFL

Just snapped a plenum bolt, for the 100 times I've had my plenum on and off it happens the morning I plan to go to the big G/Z meet in Oakville.

I love when someone drops your torue wrench and doesn't tell you!

Quick answer, it's bolt #2(middle of the plenum lower centre bolt) if I thread a short bolt in and form a seal in the plenum would you say it's safe to drive the car for today? I'll extract the snapped bolt which snapped clean off in the low plenum another day.

I guess I'll thread the bolt start it up and see if I can hear a vacuum leak.

I'm buying a new torque wrench today as well, my mac just got the ****ty end of my frustration.

That's a shame.

Sounds like what you're planning will work in the short term.

Yea man, it's a mess and a half. I'll get some photo tomorrow, I parked the car in the shop and walked home out of frustration.

My car decided to do all this to me because I'm about to buy a Honda F4I

I really wish I could get infiniti to pay for the damage since it was their OEM latch that failed but I know for a fact I couldn't win that argument, there is way too much done to my car.
