09 Jaguar XF -Supercharged
This past weekend I took my friends 2009 Supercharged Jaguar XF for a nice run through the countryside.
What a nice riding car. Great power, smooth and superb handling.
It was a treat to drive. The longer wheelbase completely numbed all the bumps and creases in the road even with the 20" wheels. The cabin was dead quiet and even kept the engine noise at bay when all the horses where let loose.
Acceleration was fantastic. Much quicker than my G . My co-pilot timed the 0-60 at 5 sec. and the acceleration was extremely smooth much like our G.
Cornering is what amazed me the most as I was able to take this bend at 50mph holding my own inside lane.
It was a fun driving experience but I still love my G. I just wish my friend would leave soon so I don't have to look at that beautiful black Jag outside my house anymore. lol

It has got to be one the of the biggest "come-back" cars of history. If you put it next to the s-type, you would have no idea that the two cars came form the same company.
I've never been in the R version, but the xf I was in was crazy nice. Almost like it was 5 years ahead of it's time. Which is something Jaguar was never known for.
