apparently they should dismiss the ticket when i go to appeal for it
Even a single mistake on the ticket makes it invalid...and in addition to this..i could just throw the ticket out because i dont drive a pontiac..the plate number was entered wrong which happened to be mine

Even a single mistake on the ticket makes it invalid. That's how it should work, but often the Judge will just ask if your car was there at the time indicated on the ticket. Had it happen to me, payed and had to suffer the smirk on the prosecutors face. ..and in addition to this..i could just throw the ticket out because i dont drive a pontiac..the plate number was entered wrong which happened to be mine
Or the person who got the ticket put it on your car. But really, a parking ticket, no points and an extra $20 or so to take it to court as opposed to just paying it online for $1.50 or with a 35 cent stamp and 40 cent cheque. Not to mention your time to go and fight it.
Just take it to the local cop shop and tell them about this mysterious ticket and ask them if they can get fingerprints off of it so they can go charge the real criminal who defiled your Infiniti with the clashing yellow ticket. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, this reply made me smile, hope it does the same 4 U.

...so, you would lie in court to save a few bucks? And what will you say when they ask you your whereabouts on that evening...lie again?

I'm of the belief that it doesn't matter what they think your car is, if you deserve the ticket, you pay for it. I've watched Parking Wars, and that show pisses me off because the people getting the tickets are morons.

"I know it says no parking.. but I had to get a sandwich.. DERP!!!" "F the city" "F you".. yadda yadda.. I mean seriously?

Yeah when it's just a parking ticket, and no demerits it's not even really worth showing up to fight. Speeding ticket... okay, now we're talking!

I was actually thinking of that show when the parking lady was printing the ticket so I asked her nicely for the ticket and said thank you...but then when I saw she wrote Toyota I wanted to B*tch slap her

Over here the ticket would be invalid lol. Even if they spell Infiniti wrong, it's also invalid. A friend of mine contested a ticket like that.

The third word is the key, "may". When I went to court in a similar situation the Judge chose not to dismiss, he just asked me if it was my car that incurred the ticket. Regardless, the best of luck to Bahram, make sure you let us know how this turns out.
