Anybody done this to get rid of the MPH on the clock? Easy? Pricey? Nuts?

check out standard auto wreckers, they have a bunch of dash clusters from G35 accident cars for pretty cheap. the install is pretty easy too

Yeah, I want KM/H only - the dial looks so much cleaner without the extra info.

Somehow I don't think that a Canadian scrap yard is going to have too many skyline 250 and 350gt's kicking around.

I can't imagine the swap being too difficult. But that's coming from someone who wants to put an lsx in their Infiniti.

Ok I am not sure if this will be 100% the same. I have a Nismo JDM cluster (I got it from a Nissan dealership in Japan) now I ordered was the one with KM/hr only but I guess they barely made any of them so i ended up with KM and MPH on it. However it did some weird things the automatic windows (you know the little roll down when you open and up when you close the doors) wouldn't work and also the auto headlights wouldn't shut off automatically anymore. It had something to do with the cluster not recognizing the door pin being depressed. However I heard these issues were only on 03-04 and the JDM Nismo cluster would work fine on 05 up cars? They were small inconveniences however some people might find it annoying?? It should work but there maybe a few small things like that that won't work due to the JDM cars having different features than our cars I would give it a try if I were you Do you have a source to get you one? If you want I can dig up the guy from Japan I used to get a bunch of JDM parts and several of the guys I know used him to get parts for R32 GT-Rs they have. I was hesitant at first because the way you pay him is to deposit money in his Royal Bank Account, I was not real keen out that because you have no recourse if he phucked you over. But I have ordered several things and everything went well. Let me know.

Oh and it was pricy I think it was over $600 but that was for a Nismo so the standard JDM might be cheaper?

What if you just pulled it apart and painted over the MPH markings on the backside so light won't come thru?
