I don't think it is hard to beat a GTR from a roll. 480chp will give it about 380awhp, so it will have an advantage from a dead stop, but not a roll. GTR's curb weight is at 3700lbs, so about 7hp per pound. A race with a turbo 350Z (about 400whp) would be a drivers race.
I would still driver one, but I'm just saying.

I would love to race Btown from a dig, I crushed a few big power awd cars from a dig ....but heard excuses after
the R35 might be a challange because there is no majic to driving it put it in D and click the shifters
where as manual trans cars would be much harder to launch.
PS I would also like to have a go at Robs supra as well.
However I have some investigating to do. I might have popped a head gasket the stock engine might have got tired of seeing 21psi and 600whp
Karma did you get me a Project O sticker???

Gord, 21psi on a stock block? How long did that last (hope it's still ok).
Should come out to Castrol this Saturday, street legals all weekend. I ordered some REO50a's but don't think they will be here in time.

^^ Then you could blow it up real good, Gord! I'm surprised it's lasted this long, and if I'm not mistaken, that block has seen boost before (though a fair bit less, IIRC)
The cat is out of the bag
I have kept it quiet do to the controversy I think it would bring from everyone that thinks that a VQ can only hold 400ft/lbs of torque. I did do some research before doing it, others have made well into the 500whp on stock blocks but no one at 21psi (my waste gate pressure) so I thought it could be done especially with my fuel system being way over kill and a high end standalone. If anyone needs verification Lloyd was in the house when we dynoed it...he had to sit in the trunk to help keep the tires from breaking loose on the dyno at my 589whp run we still had some tire spin the dyno operator said he had no doubt the car makes over 600whp on the street with the cooler air. I have vids and dyno sheets maybe I should upload them and make my own thread.
The only indication I had that I might have a HG issues was I smelled something sweet, but the coolant level seemed fine and the oil seems clean. So it might be that I am paranoid. I have known from day one that the engine was on borrowed time but it has held up much better than expected.

I'd love to see the timing map on that much boost with a high compression motor. I am at 13deg (very conservative) at peak torque, so you must be even lower than that.

I did see the first one. Well maybe if it was not the first day of driving my car things would be different.
I am game for a rematch any time.

I am in as well for a go with Btown or Rob, in the R32 though not the G.
We still have to get together one day to work on the G.

I suppose the fact that I had a 2wd car with 100less whp that was faster at the track probably stings
and I am trying to turn a new leaf and be nicer....or do you prefer the old Gord??Edit to save Dustins feelings.
I think you need to worry about getting consistently below 13s in both your cars before you worry about what I am doing or calling me out.

I am planning on coming down maybe with both cars. But i am more interested in the R32 can put down. So far 13.01@122.9mph.LOL. I need to figure out the launch thing.
