I was just bored one day, kids & wife were sleeping, so I was just snooping around my garage and came across this inch & a half foam sealer used for an a/c unit and I put it to use. I used some heavy duty velcro to attach the foam & it worked out great. I wasn't expecting any gains over the stock power duct, which I am a firm believer is the best set up paired up with a z-tube for a first gen G35. However I could honestly say that the car felt more responsive. Not bad for a free upgrade. Oh & check out my custom Garmin gps install, wire is hidden behind the head unit & underneath the centre console, the bracket is mounted directly to the tray.

The foam looks good. The OEM foam on mine is starting to rot!!! Time to change it up.

nice DIY...i would do the GPS but i go too much crap in the center
