Used G35 Sedan

Saw a used G35 Sedan in a Honda dealer's lot. Asking price was 41k. It's the premium model. What does everyone think about this? Good buy? The car as 1200km in it. I can't decide whether to spend the extra $2000 to peace of mind with a new car or if I should gamble thinking that there's probably no problem with the car. The sales dude told me that the person who bought it traded the G for the S2000.

Why worry? Go new. (If you've got the extra 2k)

Besides.. if the guy's crazy enough to trade in a G35 for a Honda, who knows what he did to that car?

Re: Used G35 Sedan

I think your talking about the G35 at the Honda dealership here in B.C., correct me if I am wrong. In any event, I have talked to a few dealers here in B.C. now who have stated that they will go at least $1000 off MSRP for the sedan(due to overstock). I'm going to be buying soon and will be looking for 2k off MSRP for the premium model. My advice: if they(Honda) won't go down at least another 3K, buy new. (And your going to get hit with both taxes either way too buying from a dealer).

Re: Used G35 Sedan

Went to Morrey Infiniti a while ago. The lowest they will go is 1000 off MSRP. I wanted $2000 off so no deal was made. The guy said they are selling like hotcakes, which I didn't believe. Otherwise there would be a waiting list to get it. I'll try Richmond Infiniti next.
