I was thinking of Powder coating my BBK....what is everyones thoughts on that?? I am worried it will kill the heat dissipation as they are only anodized now. So throwing a layer of paint or worse powder coat will trap heat in?? Thoughts.

I think you should be fine! Any colours in mind? Digital Camo brakes would be pretty sweet to match the hood! Just a thought if u wanted to continue that theme.

Pretty much, yeah. You have to add a couple hardware pieces for them to attach to the hood and fender, but it looks pretty straightforward. Not sure if I'll put them on soon or wait til spring.

Well Wayne, if your willing to part with them you let me know. I'd like to make my alignmen slightly more tire friendly for this season.

Gord about the powdercoating, I wouldn't be worried about it. Perhaps if you had a dedicated track car, or were building a gt class unit. But with a street car I can't forsee much of an increase in temperatures.

that is what I was thinking, the car was built to be a track/street machine but due to the engine issues I doubt it will see the track for another year or two unless someone backs a big truck full of money up to my house.
