I totally loved it on my car...other than the passing comments " Uh, whats wrong with your trunk? Its not the same color black as your car"

It will stand out on your car for sure (rather than blend in...Oh well )

 

Ive had the same comments about my hood not being painted the same colour, all these comments come from noobs that really have no clue. Haha. Thanks again for the trunk, I'm picking it up this weekend so I will have a couple snaps.. Maybe even installed

 

^^^ lol I get the same comments ... it's always " oh so you painted it black down the middle ? LOL ... (I have carbon fiber lip, grill, hood, trunk, spoiler... and the mirrors, roof and rear diffuser is actually painted black)... I love the carbon fiber but for people that don't know what it is.. its just "black"

 

Ahhh well, can't blame them for being car-illiterate. haha. Buncha noobs!

 

You guys are getting those comments today, I had a CF hood about 7-8 years ago. NO ONE had a clue WTF it was all about, to the point of being annoying answering questions about it

 

I went through the same thing about 5 years ago when I was rocking my civic. People just thought I was one of those guys riding around with an unpainted body panel except it was black and not that pretty FB blue. haha. I miss her every now and then, had a fully built NA motor.

Ever thought of taking the spoiler off? Spoilerless is pretty sexy!

 

I don't know... I'm partial to the spoiler. Not sure what it is but at some angles it just seems to balance out the car a bit. Like a little pick-me-up for a sagging back end. I'd heard the clean trunks were in demand but frankly +1 for the spoiler.

Speaking of which- that's one of my winter mods!

^^^ Thanks again guys ! ... I'm hoping it looks just as good after the few little things especially the new paint ... The new color is going to be laser red with ice pearl ... Im hoping it contrasts just as well with the carbon fiber//... Also going to have the raderwerks wheels on and throw in the coilovers and camber kit to get a little more aggressive .... After that take a short break on the spending on car lol...
