It did not go high enough and you are right, I felt the quality was not there. I also wanted a bit more lift capacity and there are other features I wanted.

I looked at many jacks this seemed to fit the bill because of many details on it.

The lift is 3.5" to 19 1/2 "

I will do a write up about it and why I chose it when I get the jack.

A quick pic I found on the web

Ever seen a low profile floor jack with electric pump option? It would be nice when trying to lift under the sub-frame.

Anyone know where to get a low pro jack (less than 2" at min lift) for less than $400, they are all stupid expensive.

I am totally jealous of Ian's setup. That would be the most ideal setup for anyone who wrenches! Seems fairly affordable as well. Do you know if he leaves it in the same position all the time or if he sets it off to the side when its not in use, hopefully he sees this post
It stays in position.
One of the reasons I chose this style of lift was so that I can park over it.

Right now it's in hiding....

Good stuff Wayne!
I'll have to check it out when you get it.

It looks like a great track jack

Here's what I have. Both are low pro jacks but the blue costs ~450 an the red one was 100. (Blue one belongs to a friend, lol... I should return it)

Anyways, both are under 4 inchs at minimum height. The Blue is much more solid and just feels better to use. When I changed the wheels to winters. I lift the G from the front side lift point and I change both front and rear at the sametime. So two wheels in one shot. Makes life easier and a quicker change.

I am not, I heard something fall the one day and came back in and saw the stand on the floor I was damn happy it didn't land on me and never thought anything of it. Then I was looking at the headlights after reading the headlight mod thread and i noticed a bunch of marks. They were hard to see because i still have bugs on the front because i never washed it before the snow hit I was wondering what the hell and started looking at the suffs and I thought those are bad how did I get all those then I noticed a big gouge in the vinyl or the hood that goes right down to bare metal I haven't been back to further inspect the extent of the damage it made me too mad and I haven't been back to see how bad it really is

^YIKES! That would just **** me right off too. Any shot at doing a touchup? With the camo you might have a better shot at a touchup bc of the contrast of colours throughout the hood. Much harder for the eyes to see, the only ones who would know would be the ones you told :P

With the Camo on it is very very hard to see, I was going to take the camo off this winter it might be fairly visible then.

Leave the camo. I dig it and commend you for going a different route! Nothing wrong with being a trendsetter!

Damn that jack is f'in sweet! I picked up one from Costco and well, it works but it's a VERY tight fit in the front. You wouldn't be able to get it under the car if you lowered it.
