Okay... About selling- often it's easier for guys to shell out 200 bucks for a few months than 800 bucks at once to have something sit in their garage for another 8.

Hmmm...

Okay, well if anyone knows someone who is looking for winters and would rather pay the 200 then let them know and they can IM me. They don't have the tire pressure monitor in them but I'm sure that doesn't bother anyone.

Sunny and about 15 here today. Water is beautiful. What's this "snow" stuff everyone is talking about?

How quickly we forget, eh?

^ which Blizzak? I have LM25s with ~60% tread. Don't need rims though - would you consider separating?

If we were local, I would have rented your winter tires/rims since I'm selling the car in the spring time so I would not have had to buy a whole setup....

We aren't getting snow this year.

Yeah right. David Phillips has predicted another hammer year in the Maritimes.

We usually get a little dump by the second week of November just to get the body shops busy again.

You guys seem pretty early to see any white stuff yet. I just got back from a drive in the MC.

I agree with you there Mustafa. I think we are in for a bad one this year, not like last year where we had a very easy mild winter.

Deane, nice to get a good run in the Coupe , eh

You betcha. Not many left for 2010. Washed her up afterward.

We had a hot dry one too this year. Last winter was mild as well so maybe we're also due for that nasty one that's expected.

We got a good dusting last night, looked like almost an inch.

I'm planning to switch over soon, but I need to get both of my sons together to take all three sets down from the hangers in the garage and put the summers back up. I pranged my shoulder again so I have to avoid any overhead reaching. Probably do it next weekend or Remembrance Day. We've got good A/S on all three cars, so no panic.

ahhhhh! i never thought the tread wear is that bad on my rear winters, it was so bad it makes my performance summer tires like new winters

and the fronts are wearing out too,i attached the pics, i looked at the year it was made(2002 omggg), its definitely too old and dangereos to drive around.

summary: damn either put the car into hibernation or buy a set of new tires $$$$$. anyone knows good deals on winters for 17s.

For the sake of what I'm thinking about probably best to just keep 'em together. I'm pretty sure mine are the same, however.

Guys remember to re-torque your winter wheels after you put 100kms or so on them.
I am re-checking mine today.

For the few here that are new to this, the torque for the G35 and FX35 is 80 ft/ibs, and the socket size for the OEM nuts is 21mm.

i hate looking through all these websites and shops to get a good tire with a good deal, so far micheline xice2, hankook w409,

bridgestone dealer gave me $930 for hankookw409, another 880,

a dealer is missisauga(krazy car or something) gives 880 for micheline xice2

size is 225/50/17 all around. (the tire dealer all say it doesnt matter to have staggered on winters, dunno how true is that)

if anyone found a good dealer with good prices , please let me know.

edit: micheline xice2 i got a deal of 835 includes everything. since its micheline should be alright.
