Re: Montreal
I rarely go up to Canada. Been to the Calgary Stampede though it was years ago.
Is it worth the trip up to Edmonton to visit that Huge Mall of Edmonton? I heard it has a lot of things to see and do.

Re: Montreal
Yea sure, I always visit a mall when I travel to a new place. It's important that I check out the mall's wherever I go
Seriously though, Edmonton has much more to offer a tourist than a friggin' mall.

Re: Montreal
It's actually called West Edmonton Mall. There is also a 'Mall fo America' built by the GHERMEZIAN FAMILY in Bloomington, Minnesota. I believe WEM is still the largest Mall in the World. Personally, I try to avoid the place since I don't like the crowds and noise. Great place to visit though, especially for visitors.
The best time to come to Edmonton is in August, since there are a multitude of festivals. We have such a short summer here that we need to take advantage of anything we can outdoors! We have the Internationally famous Fringe Theater Festival in August, so if you're into live theater or street performers, you'd be joining visitors from all over the world.
We're a lot more reserved than Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver though.

Hey, we Canucks can surprise you sometimes! We've even adopted a few things like drive-by shootings that most of you Yanks take for granted!

Absolutely man, Montreal is a ver wild city, more wild than TO. People are much friendlier, down to earth, not as stuck up as torontonians. The girls are easier. Montreal Quebec is more European and thre is more leniency and less government regulations etc.. But I still prefer Toronto best! lol
