A little nicer here today -- around zero, no snow. Good thing, too, cause the wife's SUV busted a sway bar end link and my garage isn't heated! Easy driveway job, though...once I was able to 'convince' the old one off.

^good to hear with both the weather and the SUV fix.

We've been fortunate with weather so far and the long term forecast looks like a green Christmas once again.

No danger of a green Christmas here.
We had some mild days that shrunk the snow down a bit, but we're right back into it today.

Yep, same here Deane. We received heavy winds and rain here today and it was 14C. Not looking good for a white Christmas here......but I'm cool with that.

^it's 13 right now at 9:45pm. Heavy winds but very little rain today. Not sure what it got up to but there's colder weather coming in a couple of days.

I'm cool with the green stuff too.

My buddy from Columbus Georgia, called last week asking if we could still get the Olympic mitts still because his hands are cold in the morning . at freezing I am still working out side with just a longsleeve T-shirt and no gloves.
Danny I think if you came up here in January when we hit -30F you would never want to come back here again

Deane, we've had an absolute CRAP LOAD of rain here over the last two days. We also had 90km/hr winds as well. Crazy stuff for sure. The only thing good about it has been the very mild temps.

My sister works for the RCMP and she received these pics from from the RCMP branch in St. Stephen today, whose been under a state of emergency since yesterday due to flooding. They've receive 176mm since yesterday.

Wowzers, that's one hull of a lot of water. That is incredible.

We've had the wind you're talking about but only a fraction of the rain. I don't know our high today but I picked Heather up at 4pm and it was +14 when we were driving home.

Wow, that is one heck of a lot of rain Shane. We have been seeing a lot of oics on the Weather Channel from the East Coast, those rains are brutal.

It's been -7 to -12 here the last couple of days, along with our normal horizontal snowfalls. The winds have been 50-90 kliks the last two days. Because of that all highways into our town have been closed. This does happen on a fairly regular basis here once winter sets in, but this year winter has come quite a bit earlier. I'm glad Karen and I are home now.
