Dam BMX racers are stealing the metal tire valve caps from my 18" Wheels. The dealer wants $3.50@. Can I expect this to be an on going problem?

I never had a problem with my logo stem valve caps though...

I had really nice hex chrome caps stolen off my other car/rims too. I just went to Cdn tire and got a pack of 4 metal ones for $1.99 so no big deal...better they steal those than the whole rim!

 

Yeah, that's what I did. It's not a big deal but I don't like them as much as the originals.
Now when I see young kids checking out my car I think maybe they're thinking about the valve caps;^(
I wonder if you can buy these things in bulk. They can't really cost much?

Any where else where you can buy anti theft valve caps? Strictly Z shut down.

 

I caught a guy once at a Walmart parking lot. He took off running so a foot chase began. Got him about 2 blocks later and begged me not to call the cops. Gave him a break but kicked and bent his wheels pretty bad.

I was furious at the time and felt bad afterwards.

 

yep, go locking or get the cheap plastic ones.

i replaced 1 time and they lasted a day or 2
noone has stolen the black plastics though

BTW i have metal ones on my motorcycle and noone has touched them guess mc's still have an image of fear attached
