Does anyone know if dealers are discounting anything on the 05 G35x or is it strictly msrp?

Has anyone here bought their car via individual Infiniti dealer internet depts (e-mail multiple Infiniti dealers, each giving you a quote that was less than msrp). I read on Edmunds.com that this is an effective way of getting the best price, but wonder if it works in Canada.

 

I was able to get 2000 off a 2005. It very hard to get a discount because they are selling out and there are waiting list for them. They say about 80% of G35 are X's. Most places seem to not want to discount due to demand.

 

Just wondering about the colour choice of yours. How does the lakeshore blue compare to the stoneridge silver. I also was thinking about the stone interior

 

Rsx- the Lakeshore Slate is a greyish blue, when my wife first saw the color on a new coupe she fell in love with it. We then ordered the LS with a graphite interior, then when we got home she changed her mind and we are now getting the LS with stone interior. The stone is light grey very similar to the frost interior I had in my 02 Maxima. The colors look fantastic together. Here is an 05 G35X in the Lakeshore Slate one of the other fellows purchased that he posted on one of the other boards..
