That would be Tires23 on Dixie and Matheson http://www.tires23.com/index.htm I bought my Enkeis and Yokohoma Paradas from them, they were great to deal with.

I know its a bit of a nOOb question but I'm running original 17" tires on a very stock '07 G35X car and am looking for a good summer or all season replacement. I'm not sure what is a good way to go for tire sizes since 225/55/R17 can have a pretty limited selection. I had a horrible experience buying from tire rack in the past so I was hoping to get my hands on something local to the Ottawa region.

I've got a set of Michelin Alpin PA3s for winter which I feel pretty comfortable with although theres a bit of road noise that I live with. For that reason I'm looking outside of Michelin for a summer tire.

Anyone have any recommendations on a good replacement for a very stock car?

^ I'm not sure why you would say there is a pretty limited selection in our tire size.
I wouldn't base your decision to NOT get Michelins on the fact that your Alpin PA3s make road noise. I think it's safe to say that all winter/snow tires are noisy.
Michelin summer and AS tires, although expensive, are a quiet riding tire. I had OEM Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires on our previous car and they where very quiet and smooth.

I'm now looking at Yokohama AVID Envigors, Hankook Ventus and some Toyo's.
It's hard to choose based on other peoples opinions. I find that as soon as I read one good opinion about a tire the next post is the exact opposite about the same tire.

Yeah you're right. I suppose its not that there isn't a good selection, I just find that when I look up posts in g35driver and look for tires they're never in the right size. Serves me right for not doing more mods I suppose.

The tire place I go to here has been pushing the Envigors on me pretty good and you're right, reading reviews always go either way. For every guy that hates it, 10 people love it and vice versa.

If anyones got recommendations I'm all ears. Summer is around the corner.

ive had both of these tires and cant complain, the tread wear is good, last a long time. if you have the money check out the bridgestone potenza re11, best tire ever made

It was about 900 for 245/45/18, installed and balanced. I was thinking about getting them from Tirerack for 680, but then I would have to pick it up from the US, then have them installed and balanced. So in the end I would have saved about 100-120. It wasnt worth the hassel.

I just got an email from Costco. $70 off a set of 4 Pirelli tires. Wasn't there a time when Pirelli was the cream of the crop? They don't seem to come up very much any more in conversations.

Okay so since everyone is hating on the Falkens and such, I've been doing a lot of calling around and here are the prices/options I have.

Falkens 452 - $780 installed + taxed in
Kumho ECSTA - $710 installed + taxed in
General Exclaim UHP - $804 installed+taxed in
Toyo Extensa HP or Proxes 4 (forgot which one) - $820 installed + taxed in

Im leaning towards Toyo, what would you guys choose? I need to buy these ASAP, done a month of researching and calling already. So help me choose!

I'm getting Falkens 452 for my car so I would say that but looks like the majority aren't fans of Falkens

Yeah that was my first choice till I got stomped on lol, now General's looking tempting since it's just a little bit more and have a lot more tread life then all of these.
