VDC saved my a** today
I was driving 20 under the limit (odd for me) through blowing snow on the 400 today, and my normal lane change almost turned into an 80km/h spin... but VDC stopped the snap-oversteer and kept me out of the ditch.
Keep your VDC on, kiddies... Winter ain't over yet!
I'm off to change my shorts...

First time I ever turned my VDC off was actually this winter in rain, I hated that every time my tires would spin the car would freak out and start to have a seizure trying to stop them from spinning, I learned I can do much better myself by letting of the gas a little instead of having VDC stomp the brakes.
first time I turned the VDC off, went hot into a corner in 2 degree temps... threw it into a curb like a dumbass
first rwd vehicle, learned my lesson the hard way about my lack of drifting prowess...
5k in repairs later, VCD always stays on.

I turn VDC off briefly whenever there's a need for controlled wheelspin on a launch but turn it back on immediately after. These cars are prone to snap oversteer without it. If you habitually switch off the VDC and aren't paying 100% attention...
The vdc doesn't actually turn off until you disconnect the module. With just the button off the car will still stab at the brakes, making a vague attempt to maintain some aid. If your not well versed with driving like a dickwagon, keep the vdc on when driving conditions are less than favorable.
