Need help with Throttle Relearn in GTA

I recently cleaned my throttle bodies and now I am getting the high idle. I been doing the throttle relearn procedures and I think I am doing it right but the RPM is still 1200 and sometimes more at idle. Also its very jerky when coming to a stop. I am trying to see if someone from the GTA can help me out with this problem if they are familiar with it.

you might have damaged the throttle body while cleaning it
same thing happened to me and I tried relearning the throttle body position and disconnecting the battery overnight many times and did not work out.

i ended up getting a new throttle body

How much did it cost you and did you need one or both? I am having a feeling I will need to replace them.

oh shoot, you have a 07 sedan
hm... mine is 03 coupe so i only have one throttle body
i'm not quite sure but don't quote me just yet, you might wanna find alternative ways to fix the issue before replacing them because they're not cheap.

sorry, not much of a help here. i hope others can chime in

How much roughly? $150? if its that or cheaper then its ok for me.

My plan is to wait it out a couple of days to see if it will fix itself then get infiniti to do the relearn by computer then replace the throttle bodies.

the relearn proceedures in the service manual dont always work. I was talking to vic last week about the same thing and he said he can only get about 2/5 to relearn by following those procedures. You neeed to go to the stealership for them to do resest, it think it cost something like $80

The idle is now at 800 steady but the RPM would jump up a little making it seem like a harsh downshift feeling when the car is about to come to a stop. Would the idle relearn done at the dealership fix this?

you have to do it 100% according to what it says in the FSM

that means, if you dont do it correct the first time, you have to disconnect and reconnect the electrical harness at the throttle body , and try it again.

I was quoted $30 for this by a Infiniti mechanic. Will this do any harm or just good? I don't want the car to mess up again when its running ok now.
