There's still a bunch of gravel on the road but it should be gone by the end of this month, I hope

Perfect spot for Calgary meets, no Edmonton cars show up for Canmore meets.

Reddeer/sylvan is the spot for Alberta meets, I see tons of car clubs have their Alberta meets here

I think the polls are a waste of time, pick a date post it you can come or you cant. The polls everyone votes then as things get closer everyone changes their mind anyway.

Red Deer is an ugly Town, if im going to somewhere for a meet it better be in a spot that has more to offer than a home depot parking lot. Id go to Sylvan Lake. How many Alberta members are there?

^^ It's actually worked well in the past, meeting at a bar parking lot, going in for a bite, a beer (just one) and BS, then a cruise out to Sylvan Lake. But if you're volunteering to organize, I'm sure everyone's open to suggestions.

Gord, have they finished putting Sylvan back together since they ripped it apart last year? Maybe we could meet at Moo like the first year.

Today it is a mess, the road along the beach was drivable but now they are putting sidewalks in in front of the businesses so the road way is restricted there. But they claim it should be done within the next couple weeks however they are not paving from the Moo towards my place till next year. i still drive it though and I doubt anyone besides Karma is lower than I am so it could work.

You sound very high maintenance you might need to check with the exotic car club they may have a cruise destination that is up to your high standards.

I agree on Red Deer as I have been to a few of these meets before, and it always works out well. It is a central (Alberta) location. A 1.5 hour drive is fine, but I would not want to drive 3 hours (one way) for a car meet. I go to these to chat/BS about cars, not to look at pretty surroundings. If I wanted a “romantic” getaway I would take my wife, not one of you fockers

Maybe my opinion does not matter since I have a Z....

I'm not high maintenance at all. I'm willing to go anywhere but if I had a choice red deer would be the last place on my list. That's my opinion relax!

Relax you're the the one that wrote 3 times that you hate RedDeer, the rest of us ignored but you seem to want us to acknowledge it so I did. If you don't want to go to RedDeer as Swivel said you plan a meet until then our annual meets take place in RedDeer/Sylvan even If the guy that joined last month hates it
