fabricating mounts and accessory brackets are not a big deal
in all honesty i had forgotten about the 4.5... im liking that it
could be a simpler transplant and no I wont do a SBC in a G35 lol

The sad thing about Nissans V8s is none of them are overly powerful even with bolt ons you would make more power cheeper with a supercharger or turbos on the VQ35. That being said if my 3.8L dosent work out this time I think a V8 will fine it's way under the hood.

Guess what? They didn't bother even touching the stock ecu.
With a package like that, with that potential, all in something that's way smaller than a DOHC V8, it's hard to ignore.

i called to ask vic at Simone's about the 4.5L drop and he said it was possible and would call me back with more info. he never called back. then i called later to ask about spring and shocks and again told me that would call back and never did...
i wonder about the ecu set up, and im sure there would be a need for a custom exhaust and intake. plus how would all the electronics in the car be run? would the front suspension need to be changed to compesate for the newly added weight in the front? tires have a weight rating does that mean that the front would need to be a different size? for all this money might as well get bolt on and get to that power and save some money or get a F/I kit. turbonetics is good for ppl that dont want to pull their engine and superchargers are pretty much a bolt on.

There are enough aftermarket bits and pieces to tune the stock ecu and the mechanical stuff is just head scratching time to sort things out.... Once it's all in then I'd start messing with a super charger
Intake and exhaust is just plumbing
I've done it all on various swaps.... It's actually kinda fun in the planning stages.
