Where to buy new '04 or '05 coupe in the GTA?

I am looking for a demo '04 or new '05 AT coupe in the GTA. I have not decided whether the Sport Pkg is a good idea, while the VLSD is probably a good idea, the 19" wheel is probably not in Toronto. Anyway, can you share your purchase experience and recommendations for dealers in the GTA? I am willing to drive up to an hour outside of GTA for a good deal.

How much did you pay for your '04 or '05 coupe? What discount did you get?

Not everyone would like to share how much the person paid for the car. We keep that has a confidential (spelling?) but I can recommend you a place and it is in Guelph where i bought my G. It is called Guelph Infiniti and his name is Deepa. Let him know that "Sandip M." send you there and he will give you a best deal. Also, be prepare is how much you willing to spend. I had went four or five places to get a best price and Deepa gave me the best price and he was very very helpful. So, do shop around and don't sign up a paper too quickly that because you being "pressure" to get a good deal. Be patient and shop around. Take someone with you who is better in negotiating with the price.

G'luck on your search.
Sandip

Got my G at alta infiniti in Richmond hill. Of the 4 dealership I went to (Guelph, 401/ dixie, Oakville and Alta) they gave me my 04 coupe at the best price and through in a few extras like 3m guard winter mats and a golf t-shirt. Great dealership! Sexy sales women too!

I just got my 05 from Agincourt Nissian. I test drove the car at Willowdale Infiniti. Willowdale gave me their best deal, called Agincourt, and they beat it so I made the deal on the phone and through faxes. Only went to agincourt once to pickup the car.

Guys at Agincourt were amazing, really ready to do business. And they even sent a nice gift to the house the next day. I will diffently bring my car to Agincourt for service aswell.

Where to get '05 AT Coupe with Sport Pkg

First off, thanks to all of you who responded. I understand not everyone like to give away how much they bought their car for. Maybe I can try a different way. I was at Willowdale today and after test driving the car they offer to take $2,000 off the list ($49,300), is that it? I was told either I take the $2,000 discount or I can pay MSRP and they will throw in a set of 17" wheels and winter tires and rubber floor mat.

Should I be expecting more? If so, how much more?

Thanks and please help!

Too be honest with you, you should be expecting more than that. Try your best to negotiate with price otherwise walk away and find other dealer. If you want to save a lot of time by doing that, you can email every dealer and tell them what is their best price, once you get the respond and then tell them this is the price what other dealer is offering "me" and {"an you do it better than that?" Just be patient and don't let salesperson fools you. Good experience to have.

LOL sounds like the same deal they offered me. I wouldn't take the winter package, the dealer says it's worth 2k. I went to Steelcase Tires and got 17"s on steel for $1100, and the tires are amazing, got me through the snow last week with no problems.

I would take as much cash off the car as you can, and buy what you need ie tires and mats after market. The other thing you should do is get the best price they can give you, if you are leasing get the best price have them figure out the monthly and the down payment then shop to other inifiniti dealers, let them beat the price.

Good luck

'05 coupe pricing in GTA

That's exactly my approach when I leased my Jaguar S-Type last and when my wife bought her Subaru Outback SPort. I told the salesman that's what I plan on doing and he said forget about it as no one will respond as they are not allowed to do so over the phone/fax/email. You have to negotiate in person. I thought this was bs but then he pull out a sheet listing the "minimum gross" for each vehicle, i.e. the minimum profit for each car, $1,800 for the G35 sedan and $2,500 for the G35x and the G35 coupe.

Is 5% discount too much? Or can I still ask for more?

Once again, thanks for all the response.

Hi there,

I dont believe the gentlemen whom first started the thread regarding the best dealership to buy at was even asking people or us how much we paid for our cars, but simply asking what the best dealership is recommended as far as best deals go..

As far as I know, if u e-mail any dealership and or a salesperson, they will not provide any info or provide best price over e-mail unless u contact them via telephone, than they pull their trick asking u for your tel# where u can be reached at, as if they really need the time to make the calculations and provide u lease figures etc., they pretend, a tactic so that they can call u back and bother u. As far as I know and by experience, like I said if u appraoch a dealership by e-mail etc they will not provide much info by e-mail.

I don't know why everyone is so secretive about how much they got it for.geez..

I have a 2004 G35C, at the time,(last april), I wanted to order 6MT on Ivory pearl which was hard to get and it had to be specially ordered. I got it for $44,615 + tax etc. from www.cars4u.com which they get their cars from Alta Infiniti. Talk to Abraham at cars4u.com and tell him the tall G35 guy sent you. or PM if you want his direct line.

At the time, the MSRP was $47,700 and the dealer invoice price was $43,215(acquired from www.carcostcanada.com)

I don't know what is the current invoice prices or demand for the car you are looking for but I suggest you always deal in person and make sure you talk to the possible highest level of manager. At the end those are the people who will approve your offer.

In my experience, 401/Dixie and Yorkville didn't even take me seriously. I guess I have to dress up when going to such dealers.sigh. The stupid salesman at yorkville even had the nerve to refuse to give his business card just because I said "if this is the price, I don't think we can go any further". geez man. so I said f__k off and went to different dealers. Although, I have heard good things about their service department which I might go in the next month.

I went to Agincourt which I did my test drive with the salesman Barry. He was quite nice and all but he didn't meet my trade-in value for my previous car.

At the end I contacted www.cars4u.com and talked to Abraham. I went to their office even though it is suppose to be online. They are located around Allen Rd/Sheppard Ave area. they are sister company of Lease-Win.

I also suggest couple of tactics like never seem so eager about the car even though you love the design etc. Don't ever say I am gonna get this car no matter what and **** like this. It just decreases your chance of negatiationg.
