Please post what intake you have (part # would be great also) and how much you paid for them and for which car. I am trying to get a feel of the market prices for these things. I really want a R2C but its $500 in Canada or $450 shipped from US which might have customs. Does anyone have R2C that can tell me if they got charged customs or not.

make sure that whatever intake you have that you have a heat shield!!! my intake was running at 140F*!!! a loss of 10 hp! the stock tube delays throttle response.

Yeah i went with stillen high flow intake / k+n cone filter and the stillen z tube. Made the exhaust note awesome on stock exhaust but like you will read performance gains are arguable.

Stillen. Free. Throw-in with an exhaust. Negotiating skillz FTW.

I have a Stillen z-tube and a k&n filter. Total cost was about 120, seemed to smooth out the power band a bit but no noticeable power gain. Made it sound nice too. I personally don't think it's worth buying some fancy expensive intake that's not going to gain **** without a plenum spacer and a big throttle body anyways.

Hey looks like someone is looking for a little performance boost

I'm running the K&N Typhoon complete CAI and ran me a little over $400, in my opinion it was money well spent K&N has been in the business for probably the longest out of everyone and make solid products that are proven. But with that being said don't expect to feel big gains as a stand alone, because remember that is only one link in the chain for breather mods to be effective.

Just remember sometimes you gotta pay to play, Enjoy.

I have a 2nd Gen also and as much as I'd like an Intake I hear there are 0 gains if not some loss on any anftermarket Intake for our cars. I guess Nissan did a good Job with the twin intakes? I'm waiting for someone to do a Dyno run to prove otherwise until then I'll just hang back. I'm actually thinking of just replacing my stock filters with K&N drop-ins there's gotta be some gains in that.

check the tech forums, someone already ran a bunch on the dyno. If i remember correctly the stillen hi-flow did the best with something like 12 +HP
