Falken Tires

I need to replace the rubber on my S2000 and can get a decent price on Falken FK452s. Anyone have any good or bad experience with these tires?

For the price of falkens i would go with nankangs. The falkens lasted me a summer with mostly highway driving because of the really soft tread.

yes the falkens dont last too long cause of the soft rubber id go with hankook ventus v12 im your you can get a decent pricing on those.. unless your looking for all season

Mine have lasted okay, but the fronts have feathered a bit. Could be my alignment, though.

My fronts feathered and my rears were completely gone, and one side of the rear tires wore more than the other with a camber kit and Tires23 just shrugged their shoulders.

Not a huge fan of the 452's I think there are other options in that price range.

I have had my falkens since '07 and have not had any issues, have them on for roughly 5 months a year.

I have had them before and I would never buy another set. There are better options for the price or a little more.

I ran the Falken FK452's for the last four seasons and decided to go with the Hankook Ventus V12's. Like the Hankooks way better.

Are you looking for a dedicated performance tire Shane?
If so check out Star specs, Yoko AD08 or Nittto NT05

I just bought NT05s this spring & love them.

Yep, dedicated performance tire is all I'm interested in Ian........without spending a fortune of course.

Where did you end up purchasing your Nittos?

Bought them local from Steelcase in Markham, but that was a special one off deal.

Tirerack doesn't carry them but IIRC places like 1010tires does.
