im going to be heading down to race city this friday the 24th with a few other cars and seeing if any other people wanted to come and check it out...weather permitting of course.

there are usually some fast cars that come out and is a pretty good time.

 

So is this all strip stuff? Or do they ever open the road course?

 

secret street is only the strip but they do have track days about once a month.

 

I haven't been in a super long time. I'd be interested in that. Would like to do a couple runs before the 4.08 fd goes in for a base line.

I was near by last week as it ended and there was a but load of really nice cars leaving. Probably a lot of nice stuff to see too.

That was pretty fun. Definitely better later in the night when you only line up for 5 minutes between runs. I did 4 runs. One of which had my vdc on stil, so was a little lack luster'er to say the least. Best time of the night was a 15.40. Anybody have anything to compare that to?

 

ended up being a great turn out. tonnes of nice fast cars. i ended up running a 13.6@104... last time i ran it was 14.1 @110 so more traction this time but short shifting to get it... slicks might be in order...

 

What were your 60ft times? I have some 18" drag radials with about 2-4 passes on them......
