My first G35
These warranty's from smaller dealers a pure bullsh*t.
to be honest as others have mentioned the price isint all that great, if the price was actually low i would say go for it if you plan on keeping the vehicle,
I say just keep searching im sure youll find a good 1 in that price range that is all original
I dont agree with the comments about cars with accidents. Do you research (which you have) and ensure the title is clean and there is no structural damage (frame) done. My car was in its second (both not my fault) accident recently and if you got a mechanic to check it im sure you wouldn't find any accident related issues to it.
2 accidents at $1200 on a that car are likely bumper scrapes that got repainted. Hail will not affect structure.
My 2c, you can use the general perception of accident cars being a future reliability issue during negotiations I guess.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on it
I would even go as far as to have a reputable body shop look at it, if it has had $5000 worth of hail damage repair work. An expert may notice something the layman wouldn't.
A couple hundred bucks is a small price to pay for some peace of mind when spending $20,000.

You need to get it for less, if you decide to sell this car in two years it's going to be worthless.
6 year old car with 3 (potentially more by then) claims against it, you'll be lucky to sell it for $7k

...but still have your mechanic thoroughly check it out first...right?

I appreciate everyone's advice so far, it has been very helpful.
Very excited at the possibility of getting back to something with rear wheel drive and manual transmission.
I'm driving a 2004 Mazda 6 wagon right now.
Couple of trucks before that which were of course rear wheel drive.
Dating myself here but my first car was a 74 Impala
No kidding, I was looking at Mustang GTs for a bit but I think this is a better choice that will have all the power I need.
So I went back to the dealer and the finance guy is almost pleading with me to take the warranty, he said he would throw in free rust-proofing.
Would I be able to get an extended warranty direct from Infiniti?
