just to add to what David said...
Get Infiniti's price for a warranty. If Infiniti's price is a lot higher then (and only then) perhaps tell them what the other extended warranty costs. Infiniti can lower their price if they want.
I would honestly be much more comfortable with and Infiniti Ext. Warranty, on my Infiniti vehicle, than some other company.
As for the rust proofing...that depends on how long you will keep the car and also what type of rust proofing system are they offering?

How many people purchase extended warranties through their Infiniti dealer?

Is it worthwhile, this guy at AutoPark Burlington kept telling me that one claim probably makes it worthwhile, especially with all the electrical systems on this car.

I'm leaning towards rolling the dice on this car that was probably purchased in late 2006 so would be more than 4 years old.

Would I be able to get an extended warranty direct from Infiniti?
JMO, Rust proofing from Krown $120, Profit on BS never pay warranty 92.6% I don't really know actual %, just gut feeling. If you're gonna go for it, go pricey Infiniti

First thing I see is the car description isn't even right. That's not platinum ice.

i dont think infiniti gives extended warranty if you buy the car second hand from another dealer. They only offer extended warranty if you buy second hand from them. at least that's how it was when I got my G. They wouldnt give me any extended warranty. But either way, buying extended warranty for a fairly new G is a waste of money

What colour do you think it looks like Asgard grey?

There was no Asgard Grey in 07 but it's similar.
It's most likely Platinum Graphite or Diamond Graphite
Colours

Did some google searching and apparently the diamond graphite wasnt available on the 6MT sport, so it must be liquid platinum or platinum graphite.

Liquid Platinum and Platinum Graphite were the U.S. paint colours - in Canada, colours were Diamond Graphite and Platinum Ice. That, sir, is Diamond Graphite, which was a 'new' shade for 2007...

Thanks for the clarification, I was looking at the two "platinum" shades but they didn't look quite right to me compared to the actual car.

Daimond Graphite. I had a platinum ice (light silver) and that one is much darker.

So I am now the proud owner of a 2007 G35 6MT.

Picked it up yesterday, took it for a little spin tonight, very nice car to drive.

Never had a car this nice or this fast before.

Learned not to keep any papers tucked under the sun visor with the sunroof and both windows open, made a quick right and they blew right out the window
