Door lock Actuator not working
Door lock Actuator not working
Hey guys how's it going. My driver side door wouldn't unlock from the FOB, and I did some research and figured it was my actuator (common problem so i hear?). I was snooping around the forums and came across a cheaper fix than going to the dealership.

I was just wondering if anyone here has given this a try. When it comes to cars, I still consider myself quite the noob, so if anyone here has had experience with this problem or the diy, I would be more than grateful to hear from you. I live in Markham, ON, if someone knows where I can find the materials for the link posted above locally, or has the free time to help me ORRRR even point me to someone who can please post or pm me, it will be much appreciated
!
P.S I just finished a long weekend project painting my rims with black plasti-dip, so if anyone's willing to help me out maybe I'll be able to help u answer some of your questions on plasti-dipping, ALSO! PICS IN RETURN

that's one way alot of people have done it . I am surprised no one looks at just replacing the actual motor in the lock , i just finished changing 2 of mine and returned it to stock with 4 hours worth of work but $600 cheaper .
See if there is just a motor replacement as 80% of all lock assemblies from japan are teh same companies and swap internal parts just different casings .
