Ha ha, same here, but I can only take one at a time. My son used to get mad when I do it, but now he likes it. But then again he used to ge really mad when we have to sit at a red light, no matter what car. Just priceless.

If you're on the south side you might consider Spy Films in Okotoks. Always been happy with their work. If you're in the north... I'm less help!

P.S Do you all take it to Hyatt infiniti to get your mechanical work done? I called them up for a price and they are crooks... Crooks I tell you!!! I really wish i could have made it up to the meet that day...

Winter tires are certainly desirable even on an X, and especially for a young driver. And yes Hyatt will bend you over on parts and service. DIY FTW!

I really never thought about tinting windows of their legality of them but I know you can't have your driver too dark but the rest of the windows are okay, But does anyone know the % for the drivers window and other windows that i am allowed to get? I know its different from province to province.

Fronts are not allowed period. You dont want super dark in the rear or you wont be able to see ****.

My last car was from Ontario and had 35% in front, and factory tint in the rear. I had it for 10 years in Calgary and got one ticket. This time I want to go with 35% all around. It seems like alot of people go with 25% in rear and 35% in front.

I have a tint on the front- not sure of the depth... the car came this way. They're quite a bit more strict about it in BC and I haven't been ticketted yet though I've been pulled over a few times. Often I get away with it being registered in Alberta but driving in BC.

Here they actually pull you over for a tint- where in Alberta they typically ALSO give you a ticket for the tint... frequently if you're a douche to the officer. They'll be like "Okay, here is your ticket for driving 25 over the speed limit... and here is ANOTHER ticket for the tint because you felt obligated to remind me that your taxes pay my salary." To that effect, anyway.

Typically they make you pull tint off the fronts when they pull you over. At one time it was either a ticket or pull it off now it is pull it off and have a ticket.
