re-installing Decals...

Has anyone tried to re-install their Decals on the car? I have the Infiniti Mountain Peak logo I painted black, I'm having trouble finding 2 sided tape that is sticky enough to hold on the back of the decal (not the car that's not an issue). Any suggestions? what do you guys use?

thanks

There are a few different types of D.sided tape even within the 3M brand.
Some of it really sucks.

Too bad you weren't closer, I have a big real of the stuff body shops use.

You can get the grey stuff at Home Depot....bu tit's not as good. But it will hold an emblem with no problem as its exterior and weather rated

Somebody told me the Mt Fuji emblem has pins and matching holes in the trunk. True or false? I'd like to remove all if there are no holes in the panel.

IIRC it did on the early sedans 03
after that; no pins.

My '04 & '08 sedans had no pins
