There isn't even any plate holes in the front bumper. Either US or Quebec car if it was legit. Highly doubtful

First good sign is that there was a phone number that someone actually answered. Spoke to the guy. He's had it for 3.5 years and had service at Dixie Infniniti. It's had an accident in the front end and left 1/4 panel at a cost of $3200. I asked, he did not volunteer the fact that it has a rebuilt title.
To his credit, when asked, he said I could take it to any mechanic I wanted. Thoughts?

take it to your mechanic to have it checked out. I could see front end damage costing $3200. ask him if he has any invoices for the work done to see what exactly was fixed

To have a rebuilt title, I would think it must have had a lot more than $3200 in damage.

that is true, under the Highway Traffic Act a car needs to be totalled in order to be eligible to be rebranded as rebuilt

Nan was also of the opinion, "seems fishy" and need more information. Thanks for the input Guys.
Will keep lookin, although we're enjoying the reduced gas bill. Floored the civic on Monday to merge on a ramp going uphill. Made it into traffic ...........................on Tuesday. Not bashing the civic, t's good for what it is.

I hope it was 11:59.46 pm when you hit the gas

Something about the car seems a bit off to me too Sam but for 13k it's worth getting it all checked out by mechanics/alignment shop...perhaps worth a trip to Simone if the owner is willing?...it looks really nice.
