Quick drive to the Beach today
Well we did as we always do on the Thanksgiving Holiday Monday. Karen and my son and I took a short drive to Sauble Falls and Beach to check out the fall colors and the beach.
What a beautiful day and no one on the beach for miles

Then on the way home a huge dog tried to attack my FX

^^Thanks guys
For anyone that isn't familiar with that beach. It is called Sauble Beach and it is located on the shores of :ake Huron about 45-50 minutes north of where I live in Kincardine. This beach is over 7 miles long and is packed during the summer months.

Did a tour up through Hockley Valey and a few other back roads.
The Forks figured to be pretty busy, so I wasn't going to bother with it,
but it was such a nice day, it was a shame to waste any of it.
It was more of a parade route pace though the Forks with the traffic & multiple LEOs,
but a beautiful drive none the less.
Word of caution for anyone headed through there; they have added some nasty speed bumps in a couple of spots.

I left my camera sitting at the door when we went, so no pics.
We did take one iPhone vid though, it's not great but I'll post it up when I get a chance.

Karen and I found the same thing this year, we don't have the bright reds and yellows like other years.
The colours were amazing but no photos, I was up there around 5:30pm and it wasn't too bad. It's funny I was going to take Hockley Valley across but just ended up going across Hwy 9. How is the drive to Hockley Valley?
Fantastic pictures Wayne. That's an incredible white sand beach. hahaha on the attack dog...
Our colours have just started to change 4-5 days ago so aren't far advanced. So far I don't think we're going to have the vibrancy here either. We've had warm fall days but not so cool nights. I think we need the cold frosty nights and the warm sunny days to maximize the colour brilliance.

No, she went back to OEM springs before my Cross-Canada trip.. The alignment could not be corrected, so they came off.
