I think the bigger problem is that they are now cracked as well...no polish is going to fix that.

Yeah, that's a whole 'nother issue and warrants replacement.

As Jeff has said, the really issue is (assuming the dealer is at fault) took a shortcut and messed up your headlights; I got my car painted as well, and actually changed the color from silver to red , car spent a month in the shop, my headlights were still perfect

Thus,

I'd blame poor service and pretty much a shittttyyy a$$ job by the dealership

I drove the car tonight & I'm so dissapointed with the look of these headlights. I take well care of my vehicles & never would of expected this. I guess now I have to look for used headlights. Some of the responses I'm getting from Infiniti Canada don't look promising.

there is data recorded with every digital pic
time, date, type of camera etc... yes it can be messed with but its not easy...
your pics will qualify for small claims court
also... go over the car carefully and ensure that that was all the damage they did
good luck

hi, im new here but came across this thread..

why did u purposely take pictures of your headlight before going into the dealership?

and why would you think the dealer would take so much time and effort to take everything apart just to take your headlights when they can order used one from a scrap yard for like $150?

was your engine bay spotless? i would imagine take apart everything needed to removed the headlights would leave a lot of fingerprints in the built up dirt inside your engine bay on each trim.

I personally think ur headlights were already messed up and u took pics of another cars headlight and then you tried to blame the dealer to get free ones.

also how come the first pic is dated 10-24-2011 10:47pm and the 3rd pic is 10-24-2011 10:48pm?

and the color of the car isnt even the same

lmaoo, the date and times on the bottom arent the times the picture are taken but when they were uploaded....the car indeed is the same colour....BUT the fact that you took a specific pic of your headlight before hand is hella odd
