hi, im new here but came across this thread..
why did u purposely take pictures of your headlight before going into the dealership?
and why would you think the dealer would take so much time and effort to take everything apart just to take your headlights when they can order used one from a scrap yard for like $150?
was your engine bay spotless? i would imagine take apart everything needed to removed the headlights would leave a lot of fingerprints in the built up dirt inside your engine bay on each trim.
I personally think ur headlights were already messed up and u took pics of another cars headlight and then you tried to blame the dealer to get free ones.
also how come the first pic is dated 10-24-2011 10:47pm and the 3rd pic is 10-24-2011 10:48pm?
and the color of the car isnt even the same

Funny how everyone has their assumptions. The truth is the picture was taken a few weeks before we took it to the dealership, by chance. I had just polished it. Luckily, when we saw the crappy headlights put on, I remembered I had the pic on my phone and zoomed in to get a better look at my original headlights. (hense the second pic) Did you really think I took close-ups of my headlights?? Who does this? For anyone who has an iphone, you'll know that you can zoom into a pic and take another pic. But that's not the point here. It was evident that those headlights were not mine. You can see that I keep my car in mint condition...you really think I'd leave those badly oxidized headlights on my car???!!! Look at the condition of my car, it speaks for itself.
The point is the dealer/body shop stole my headlights...simple - they swapped them for old ones. It's funny how the Service Advisor left in a 'hurry' on the night we went to pick it up. And it's also funny how the other advisor admitted that those were not my headlights and said they'll have to replace them. Only to find out the Dealer Manager is a jerk and wouldnt' admit to it. At the minimum, he should've recognized that their was a problem and the customer was unhappy.
I don't know about you but I know when I take my car in, I expect to get it back with my original parts. This dealership is bullshit and not worth anyones time!!

Also, I would be careful of what you type. Defamation, libel and slander are pretty serious if they decide to come back at you. Just be careful and don't let your emotions get the best of you.

woah that's nuts dude. They likely subbed it out to a local body shop, who knows, maybe they removed the headlights, stuck them on a shelf, and mixed them up with somebody else's. I bet the other guy was like wow, they really fixed up my lights!!!!
