I am a Canuck for the weekend

So this morning, my two friends and I loaded into the G and now we are in Winnipeg Manitoba!

Will be here for the weekend. What a place. So wierd to see cars that we dont normally see in the US(X-Trail, Acura CSX, etc) and i can buy booze legally!

Everyone has their winter tires on yet, while mine are laying in the garage. And it is also strange that you guys are required to have DRLs!

Going out to a play tonight, which should be fun!

Is 116.9 a liter a good price for fuel? Thats literally what every station up here is at...

$ 116.9 a liter for regular is cheaper than here, it's 124.9 in my town.

Have a good time

1.39 or so where I live on the west coast unless it's come down since I left. Enjoy Manitoba!

$1.16/L is a great price ..........for Canada

Janik, in comparison, you're paying the equivalent of $.89/L in Fargo right now

Hey Janik, hope you enjoy my old home town. Leave it in one piece will ya?

That gas is cheaper than here and most of the rest of Canada.

The US will wake up to DRL safety sometime in the next few decades and get over this "huge" infringement on "freedom". LOL Motorcycle companies have known the benefit to riders and had full lighting for 40 years.

Maybe if they fixed certain ones that run the high beam bright enough to sear your retinas in daytime. Toyota minivans and most new Christler products spring to mind...

BTW 1.16/l is roughly $4.25/US gal. It's 1.07 for regular most places here in Calgary

I can't understand the metric system... I feel like an idiot hahaha.

I keep looking at these road signs and going "Hot damn, I can do 110" and then soon realize that its only like 68mph...

Having fun in Winnipeg though. Staying at a 'Sandman' hotel which is pretty nice..

There are no active G club members from Winnipeg? I rolled through their one and only Infiniti dealership this afternoon. That was kind of an experience haha. Took a pic of the G by it.

You can do 110mph if you want to, just don't get caught.

Winterpeg....I am from Canada and i do what i can to avoid that province From time to time we get a few guys from there on here but dosent seem like alot of activity.

Gas in Sylvan Lake is $1.07/L but we like to call that the "Alberta Advantage"

In all seriousness I hope you have a good time, must be nice to be able to go out to bars and drink legally

Hahaha we spent the whole day going around. Saw the Manitoba museum, the legislative building, ate lunch in China town, saw Ft Gibraltar etc.

Seems like every canadian is on steelies and snow tires up here. Blows me away.
