LOL. I do make the odd delivery for my job, so there may be a perception problem for clients though, especially when being driven around at "mach chicken".

The E66 is a bit of a porker, but I'm not sure I care. The G37 coupe is enough of a bugger in tight parking spots due to the length of the doors. You practically have to swivel your butt on the seat then turn your left foot to the rear of the car then alight with the limberness of a contortionist. Sadly, my contortionist days are in the past...

Tell me about it with the door size...some c0c sucker in our parking lot at work parked so close to me the one day I had to go through the passanger side and I scratched the dash with my foot but I watch him daily and when oppertunity presents itself I will return the favor when I am driving my truck and hopefully I get multiple chances over the years to get him. I had my co-workers get him once the picture is on my old BB he must have had to go through the trunk to get in I have issues letting things go...seriously every morning I look to see if he is in the parking lot yet.... EVERY MORNING

Anyway I would go with the 7series

Nice looking 7-series!

How'd you like the E34? I've been debating getting one for years.

Thanks. Seeing it tomorrow.

As for the E34, I had two. I bought a '90 535iM in '98 and ran it for two years before I got a '91 M5 in 2000. Same body, HUGELY different cars, even in factory trim.

The 535 was plush riding, slightly loose handling, torquey 208HP engine (M30B35), quiet - an effortless cruiser.

The M5 was very firm riding (but not to the point of being harsh), handled like a slot car, peaky 320HP engine (but still tons of torque, just higher in the RPM range - S38B36), yet still a quiet and effortless cruiser, just a hell of a lot faster.

My favorite thing was coming around a tight sweeper in 2nd at about 4000RPM, nailing it mid-corner, hanging the tail out, pulling to 7500 (pure, sweet music), and running through 3rd to redline again. Sigh...

I've driven E34 525s in both the M20 and M50 variants. Not enough power, stay away. And don't even think about an automatic. You have been warned.

Now that's just mean.

Moving on Thursday - I have enough stress to fill a small swimming pool.

No news, no hurry. Xmas may preclude, but awaiting winter tires to be fitted by current owner.

All moved in to Chestermere now.

Check out this thread I made on Bimmerforums. I actually know the owner of this car so after that I wouldn't be seen anywhere near a 7 series. Besides, they're problem-galore.
