Re: Zaino question
i just zaino'd my car for the first time. the Z2 seems very
difficult to wipe off, am i doing something wrong?
it was about 10 degrees today and i left it on almost 1.5 hours.
how much Z2 do u put on, enough that the whole car gets a haze or just a little bit?

Re: Zaino question
Use Z6 for quick detailing (spray mist on, wipe off). Use Z7 for a full wash (with buckets, hose, etc.). Neither will take Z2/Z5 off, and the claim is that they "enhance" the shine.
tabz, you should be using no more than 1 oz of Z2 or Z5 for a single coat. I usually pour 1 oz out (1/2 a mixing bottle that came with the ZFX) and have stuff leftover after one coat. You shouldn't have too much hazing at all, if any, even in cool weather. I did my coupe last weekend, and left one coat oon for about 2-3 hours.. there was hardly any hazing, and what was left easily came off with a bit of Z6 and some wiping (didn't really need the Z6, I found I could just wipe it off with a cotton towel).
Most likely you are using too much... do it VERY sparingly and you'll have a much easier time getting it off.

Re: Zaino question
cool, thanks
ya i dont think i used too much, didn't have much of a haze. i think i didn't wait long enough for it to dry.
when i removed the Z2 and ran my fingers over the paint it felt ruff, like little grains (not much but some) dispresed throughout.
when i used Z6 it was much better, silky and smooth but i felt that if the Z2 came off easier the finish would have been better too. i guess its trial and error and next time i'll do a better job
