I know I have always liked those wheels, I like the concave on the rears. So i have wanted to do a square set up, unfortunatly those ones are 19x10.5 +33 if they were +22 I would have been all over them. The seller also had kind of sketchy communication so I decided to pass on them.

My next project may be closer than I thought, I might be losing my company truck soon. I will get a vehicle allowance, So I might get an SRT8 Jeep or a Porsche Cayenne I was also looking at BMW M5s but I will want a 4x4 so I can still do field visits and charge by the km for them .
I have been looking at 08-09 Cayennes I have looked both at the Turbo and the GTS everything tells me to get the turbo but I feel that would only feed my power/speed addiction. If I get the GTS maybe I can break the addiction it looks like they are tough to gain power from but the turbo looks like it can make big gains of course for big . The GTS would be wheels and a lowering modual and call it done....my wife has heard that story before

The Jeep SRT8 I like them but they also have huge after market support and seem easy enough to make good power with them so it would be tough to refrain from modding it I like to cry to my manager about how under paid I am a Porsche may make that a difficult story to stick to.

Sadly I am a powerholic and I do need help

On a power related note the 3" exhaust arrived on Monday it looks nice do to the straight through design of the mufflers and resignators I have a feeling it will be loud.

Fountain Tire damaged my rear wheels when mounting a new set of tires...long story short I have a new set of rears on the way with a +33 offset. Going to square it up a bit and will be good to go. A new set of AD08's just arrived as well.

I think Fountain Tire will try to sell my old rears with the +22 offset, although I had those machined so they are +25 now. They bought me the new set, so the old wheels belong to them. The powdercoater they use could not match the cololor, go figure. They are black now, not gunmetal.

You know that the SRT8 would be awesome after spending a month on my lift...say hellooooo to twin 62mm billet T4's.

Sometimes the devil makes me happy. Know what else makes me happy? Finally putting on the summer wheels, complete with four new tires: 245/35/19 F, 255/35/19 R Bridgestone RE970AS.

^^ I'm lovin' it, Ian, it replaces the ONLY things I didnt' like about this car.

Mrs Swivel came home from driving it the other day and said "some other guy in a G was taking a long, hard look at your car". (as long as it wasn't at my wife, LOL, who is pretty easy on the eyes, too )

I've noticed myself that it gets some second and third looks.

Looking good Wayne...as usual.

Let me know your opinion on the RE970AS tires, after you've had some time on them. I'm thinking the Hankook V12's are a bit noisy.
Perhaps I'm just not used to 20's or a little excess camber so those could be contributing noise factors. I do like the ride and feel.

Paul, I'll definitely let you know about the 970s once I have some miles on them at more normal operating temps and in the wet, etc. Right now it's just such a change from the Blizzaks that I'd probably be happy with anything. But so far, I love them, they're exactly what I was expecting/hoping for.

Looking really good swivel... then again it always did.

Had a few new things bought and paid for now too- more gucciflage to spice up the interior:

Sxexcx polished titanium AT shift ****.
Sxexcx polished stainless round overflow tanks
Nifty Shifty AT full shifter boot- black non perforated leather with silver (light) double stiching.

All made to order so it'll be a bit before I get to play... just as well because the car is going back to MNR for awhile to get some exhaust leaks and some other tweaks dealt with...

^^ That's all gonna look great, Eno. You gotta drive that beast out to AB so we can check it out!

I'm noticing redonkulous wheel gaps in that pic of my car...I think it's because I'd just jacked it up, changed the wheels and hadn't driven far enough for them to settle back in. Either that or I need coils.

The thought was so inconceivable to me I didn't even see it otherwise I would have said something too.

I'm going to try to get to Calgary when I take my 3 weeks off... not sure when that's going to be yet but I think it's going to have to come soon! Needing a full recharge!
